CINEMATOGRAPHER / PRODUCER
As an emerging cinematographer and photographer, Marcus Fung utilizes Vancouver's dynamic scene as a platform to gain diverse commercial experience. Born and raised in the heart of the west coast, Marcus carries the minimalist and modern styling of his background into his work. Having spent years in the camera department, working on shows such as Altered Carbon, Supernatural and War for the Planet of the Apes, Marcus has drawn knowledge and skills from industry professionals, implementing them into his craft as a local cinematographer. He describes his cinematography as natural, authentic and true to the eye. One of his key areas of interest lies in helping collaborators realize an accurate visual representation of their ideas.
In his time off, Marcus enjoys fashion, music, and friends. Riding his motorcycle in the summer and hitting the gorgeous slopes of B.C. in the winter. Marcus is personable, outgoing, and loves a good laugh. Any creative discussion over a cup of coffee will surely make him smile.
